1. Fix Slipping or Poor Grip on Rivets
A: Dismantle the front nozzle, jaws and spring
Unscrew the front nozzle, take out the three jaws and small spring.
B: Clean up dirt and metal debris
Remove all metal debris and grease.
C: Repair or replace worn parts
Polish slippery jaw surfaces with fine sandpaper. Replace worn jaws or weak springs.
D: Reassemble the components
Put all parts back and tighten the nozzle firmly.
2. Fix Sticky Handles, No Springback or Jamming
Step 1: Open the gun housing and take out internal parts
Take apart the gun housing, remove connecting rods and the main spring.
Step 2: Clean rust, dust and fix deformed parts
Clear rust and dust. Straighten bent rods and replace damaged springs.
Step 3: Lubricate moving parts
Apply a thin coat of grease on all moving parts.
Step 4: Reinstall and fasten the housing
Align and refit the housing, then tighten all screws.
3. Remove Stuck Mandrel Inside the Gun
Step 1: Clear the nozzle bore
Clean the nozzle bore and take out trapped mandrel pieces.
Step 2: Replace worn nozzle if needed
Replace the nozzle with a new one of the same specification if the inner hole is worn.
4. Tighten Loose Handles
Step: Fasten connectors
Tighten the connecting screws or rivets.
