1. The diameter of the rivet hole should be about 0.10mm larger than the rivet diameter. If it is too small, it will affect the connection strength , and it is difficult for the rivet to penetrate.
2. When riveting, the hole diameter of the riveting gun head should be selected based on the diameter of the core rod, the direction of the catheter should be adjusted appropriately, and the nut should be used to lock it tightly, so that the core rod can freely pierce into the pull clamp of the catheter. Then, the rivet should be inserted into the nail hole, and the trigger button should be pressed to break the core rod and complete the riveting.
3. When selecting rivets, it is also necessary to pay attention to the following points: when drilling rivet holes, the aperture should be straight with the surface of the workpiece; When using riveting for inspection, it is necessary to align the axis of the riveting inspection with the axis of the rivet hole and not tilt it. During riveting, the riveting gun should be slightly pressed with force to make the rivet tail tightly adhere to the surface of the workpiece.
When using pull rivets, one side should hold the rivet and the other side should be tapped, and only through the hole can be riveted. And pulling rivets does not need to be pressed, they can be pressed directly, and blind holes can also be riveted. Before using a rivet to join the workpiece, it is necessary to choose a suitable rivet. Select the same material pulling nail according to the workpiece material: for general material joints, open type round head pulling nails are used; When the surface of the workpiece is required to be smooth, use countersunk rivets; In places containing acid and other Corrosive substance, stainless steel pull nails shall be used.
